PLASTIC MATERIAL AND PROCESS SPECIALIST
(based in Niedercorn, Luxembourg)

Your Purpose

As a key member of our New Product Development and Innovation team, you will be the expert for plastic material and process. You will:

· Research materials and manufacturing processes, identify requirements together with the New Product Development and Innovation team;
· Contact plastic material suppliers to challenge on new/alternative materials;
· Organize and follow up product tests with external partners (legal product approval requirements, product testing like TÜV…) and coordinate with local factories (quality and technical teams);
· Act as a material referent for the New Product Development and Innovation team, the local production teams and buyers.
· Develop specifications for new products to be introduced into production.

Your Profile

· A true plastic material expert, you can demonstrate great knowledge of the different plastic materials (PP, …), their properties and their development;
· Engineer degree in plastic materials;
· At least 3/5 years experience gained within injection plastic companies;
· Strong analytical skills with the ability to create a strong relationship with internal partners;
· A team player that is proactive, eager to learn and build;
· Fluent in English (working language).
